On November 27, the Feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal is celebrated. 

 

 

At the entrance of the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal in Paris, next to the Door of Mercy, stands the statue of Saint Vincent de Paul, reminding visitors of the mission of service and charity that inspires this place. 

 

 

Nearby, the figure of the Archangel Saint Michael offers a sign of protection. 

 

  

Very close by, the image of Saint Catherine Labouré, witness of the apparitions of 1830, connects us with the origin of the Miraculous Medal.

The medal shows on its front the Virgin Mary standing upon the world, with rays of light representing her graces; and on its reverse, the M and the cross, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and twelve stars.
